Who We Are
Our Vision
Lifehouse Fellowship exists to encourage, equip, and empower you to change your world.
Our Values
We Celebrate Freedom
Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. We invite the Spirit of God to come in, and when he does, religious mindsets, oppression, disease, and lack are broken. We cannot stay the same in the house of freedom! ( 2 Cor. 3:17; 1 Sam 10:6-11, Acts 9)
We Celebrate Faith
Without faith, it’s impossible to please God. We teach faith, we grow faith, and we live by faith so that we can be strong believers God has called us to be. ( Heb. 11:6, 2 Cor. 5:7, Heb. 5:12-24. Rom. 10:8-10)
We Celebrate Family
God has called us to be a family. We walk in the light as He is in the light, and we have fellowship with one another so we can be an example and teach others to grow in the ways of God. (1 John 1:7, 1 Tim. 4:12, Phil 4:9)
What We Believe
-
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible, and inerrant. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, is what we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine.
(1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21, Romans 16:25-26)
-
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal.
(1 John 5:7, Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19, Luke 1:35, Isaiah 9:6, Hebrews 3:7-11)
-
Man is a created being, made in the likeness and the image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world.
(Romans 3:23; Romans 3:10)
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the work of the devil and to give His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God.
(1 John 3:8)
Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the Law, which is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God.
(Ephesians 2:8)
-
Man’s first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that works repentance. The new birth is necessary to all men and it produces eternal life.
(John 3:3-5, 2 Corinthians 7:10, 1 John 5:12)
-
Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. The ordinance is a prophetic act empowering the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
(Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-39, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12)
-
The Baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance.
(Matthew 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8; 2:4; 2:38-39; 19:1-7)
-
Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to God’s Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ’s character in us. It is through the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
(Hebrews 12:11, 14, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8, 5:23, 2 Peter 3:18, 1 Corinthians 1:30, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Philippians 3:12-14)
-
Healing is for the physical ills of the human body. It is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of every member of the Church today.
(Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, Mark 16:17-18, Acts 8:6-7, James 5:14-16, 1 Corinthians 12:9,28; 1 Peter 2:24)
-
The angels said, “This same Jesus…shall so come in like manner…”
(Acts 1:11)
His coming is imminent. When He comes, “…the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air…”
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
Following the tribulation, He shall return to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Then, together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign for a thousand years.
(Revelation 20:6)
-
The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire, and therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal. The terms “eternal” and “everlasting” used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the Lake of Fire carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the presence of God.
(Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 19:20)
How We Began
After 10 years of working in full-time ministry, Pastor Jeremy was ordained by Pastor Eric Earhart and Pastor Ricky Pfeil in January of 2009 and commissioned to pioneer a new work in Midland, Texas. What began as a home Bible study in the Sutton home moved to a store-front building, with the first service in May 2009. Since then, Pastor Jeremy and Tonya, their family, and the team have grown through two locations and launched international ministry in 8 counties and three continents.
